Clean Up Day
Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 8:29PM Today I finally got tired of looking at the pile of garbage bags in the soil storage room. Yep, I couldn't find space to add more soil. That means it was time to do something about it.
I have to admit, I was a bit surprised that it took nearly 45 minutes to pack the van with all the bags of goodies, which had been designated for disposal.
Ah well, a quick trip to the dump, (Land Fill for you Non-Sask types) along with a fee of $10.00, and the job was done.
Next up, pack up the van with all the cardboard, including shipping cases, internal case dividers, KD'ed packing boxes, cardboard plant packing insulation and other assorted paper products. Yep another half hour, and I'm off to the nearest paper recycling bin.
Hey, filling and emptying two van loads, plus travel time, managed to leave me with just enough day-light to water all the greenhouses, haul in sixty bales of soil,
--- and replace the old tires on the hand cart!
