Peanut Shaped Asteroid

A peanut-shaped asteroid larger than the Empire State Building could one day hit Earth, Nasa has warned. The space rock, known as 2015 BN509, came close to Earth last week when it flew past at 44,000mph (70,500km).
Yep, I'd call that moving rather fast!

Calgary Company Rides Craft Beer Wave

Canning Company & Craft BeerPresident Peter Love of Cask Global Canning Solutions says his

For a certain generation of connoisseurs, beer sold in aluminum cans cannot call itself "craft beer".

But that's changing to the relief of Peter Love, whose family-owned Calgary manufacturing business specializes in small-scale canning machines aimed at the craft brewing market.

"We have a snobby industry," concedes the 65-year-old president of Cask Brewing Systems Inc.

Love has been trying to change beer snob attitudes since 1999, when his company came up with a manual canning system to sell to customers, who made small amounts of beer, in brew-on-premises in Ontario.

Three years later, he introduced the product to a perplexed industry at the Craft Brewers Conference in Cleveland, and hasn't looked back since!

Weight and Exercise

Hey, doing more exercise, makes the same weight!

An international study led by Loyola University in Chicago is providing new evidence that exercise may not be the key to controlling weight.

Researchers who studied young adults from the United States and four other countries found that neither physical activity, nor sedentary time, were associated with weight gain.

"Their study indicates that physical activity may not protect you from gaining weight," said lead author Lara R. Dugas, PhD, MPH. Dugas, who is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.

Physical activity has many proven health benefits, ranging from reducing the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer to improving mental health and mood. People who are physically active tend to be healthier and live longer. But while physical activity burns calories, it also increases appetite, and people may compensate by eating more,

----- or by being less active, for the rest of the day!
